How To play:

When the game first starts, listen to the intro message. Pressing any buttons will stop the message. This is the main menu. There is a how to play button on this screen. Please select it and listen to it. There is also a controls button. For navigating the main menu, keyboard arrows and enter will work or gamepad joystick and south face button will work.

You should be able to use escape on keyboard or the pause button to quit the game. If not alt + F4 will need to be used.
